This decorative bed with tester features delicate spiral posts, stoutly turned legs, an elaborately carved headboard arched with horse and lion, and a mirror in center. The panel features a pierced floral pattern and vase turned spindles. The spindle theme is echoed on the footboard.

c1880 Anglo Indian Mahogany 4 Poster Full Double Bed

This magnificent, hand-carved Anglo-Indian mahogany bed dates from circa 1880. Recently restored, professionally photographed, and imported from India. This bed’s uniquely designed headboard features an open rectangular shape filled with slats, spindles and three arched openings.   Above this area is a triangular pierced crown complemented with a pair of eagles on top. The footboard is simply designed with slats and grooves. Four posters are tapered and ridged, and toward the top they splay into four prongs with scrolled designs, and are finished at the top with elegant and simple finials. Four legs are square and tapered, and end in animal paw feet.

Measures 83″ long by 51″ wide by approximately 100″ high. Bedding area will accomodate a standard full (double) box spring and mattress, which normally measure 75″ long by 53″ wide.

c1840 English Colonial Mahogany Armoire

This fantastic English colonial mahogany armoire dates from circa 1840. Refinished and returned to its original glory. Features an overhanging cornice topped with a scrolling crown and bonnet top. Two tall doors with beveled mirrors open to reveal newly installed clothes bars and the original pull-out shelves. Center panel door is beautifully carved with a lyre motif and opens to reveal additional shelves. Two drawers sit beneath this center door. Armoire sits on a shaped apron with bracket feet. All brass handles, keys and locks are original and in excellent working condition.

c1910 Anglo-Indian Teakwood Chiffonier / Armoire

This antique chiffonier cupboard, c1910, is slightly larger than usual, with a heavy rectangular moulded cornice on a plain frieze above two drawers. Double doors with floral carving have heavy spiral pilasters on each side and which sit upon a plinth base with bun feet.   Top features a white speckled marble surface. This functional piece has three shelves and could be used as an armoire. Recently restored. Original brass hardware.   New keys were cut to fit the drawers and cabinet door lock. Drawer locks work but the bolts do not reach the underside of the cabinet frame.   Door lock works fine.   Left door features working, locking pins at the top and bottom.

c1860 Anglo-Indian Hand-Carved Teakwood Linen Press

This impressive antique teakwood linen press cabinet, circa 1860, was recently restored. An excellent example of Anglo-Indian furniture, it features a great deal of hand-carved decorative elements.   The frieze features two floral festoons, below which are double wood panelled doors with an unusual diamond floral motif. Side supports feature intricate brackets and pilasters in a twisted rope design. Doors open to reveal four shelves and two drawers.   Two shelves slide out completely, enabling relatively easy conversion to an armoire with the addition of a clothes bar.

This English Colonial teak linen press dates from c1860 and was recently restored to its original glory. It features a heavy top cornice that rests upon beautiful wood panel doors. Hand-carved scrolled brackets at top and bottom support a half- round pilaster on each side. Features numerous pull-out shelves, three drawers, and the newly added rods for hanging clothes.

c1860 English Colonial Teak Linen Press / Armoire

This exceptional teakwood linen press dates from circa 1860.   Recently refinished. Decorating the upper right and left sides are lion heads which sit upon platforms adorned at the bottom by integrated shell and scroll designs. Two of its four shelves are removable. Three drawers across the center have their original working locks and recessed pulls that swing up and out. Original keys are missing but new stainless keys have been cut to fit the locks. Inside left and right doors feature convenient hooks. Door features its original working lock (and new key) and metal ring handle.
